The Japan Lounge series is designed for large interior spaces such as office waiting areas, breakout zones, and communal environments, where durable yet inviting seating is needed. Available as both a two-seater sofa and a single lounge chair, the series balances a strong visual presence with seating designed to support the body.

The design was developed from an interest in seeing bold, substantial seating used within urban interiors, influenced by glimpses of office spaces through city windows. The result is a piece that introduces a sense of scale and presence, while keeping the construction robust and built for everyday use.

Each piece is built around a wooden internal frame, layered with firm bio-based polyurethane foam to create the core form, and finished with softer layers to deliver comfort and support. The cover is fixed and can be specified in a range of fabrics and colours, allowing the user to tailor the piece to suit its intended setting.

The seating rests on a precision-cut aluminium base. Formed from a single sheet, the feet are pressed directly from the same material, creating a continuous and durable structure. The thin aluminium base makes the large cushioned seat appear almost as if it is floating, reducing the visual weight of the piece and giving it a clean, functional presence suited to a variety of environments.
