Porty : Play

Audio

Collection of modern white speakers designed by London industrial design agency for contemporary audio solutions.

Combining considered design details with a focus on long-term use and repairability. Porty : Play has been designed for users who value high-quality audio in a less rugged but still portable environment. The full range includes Porty : High & Sub, floor standing and subwoofer varients, all sharing a consistent DNA.

The Porty : Play features a 6-inch driver housed in an MDF body with HPL lamaination, internally lined with closed cell foam to control resonance and deliver clear, balanced audio. The base is CNC-machined from aluminium, providing durability in this high impact area.

The design includes a conical front grill, which naturally amplifies the sound while giving the speaker a distinct identity compared to more conventional portable speakers on the market. Torx-head fixings allow the speaker to be easily disassembled, encouraging maintenance and repair over time.

Controls are kept simple and deliberate. A large central wheel sits flush with the top surface, and with a gentle press, it rises for tactile adjustment. Bass, mid, and treble adjustments are intially handled through individual rear buttons — once pressed in, these settings are fine-tuned using the main dial, avoiding any fiddling with small rear knobs.

Connectivity is simple and versatile, with options for both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The speaker is rechargeable via USB-C and features a prominent stainless steel handle, formed from chromed tubing.

Finished in an ice white colourway with bright blue accents highliting interaction points, the speaker range takes a playful yet functional approach to audio delivery. Balancing advanced functionality with a simple, repairable construction, Porty : Play prioritises the user’s experience without unnecessary complexity.
